First Step: (Formerly called Basics) We offer fundamental classes for those with some or no Pilates experience to get a solid grounding in the basics of Pilates.

Pilates Circuit: A new invigorating workout with a cardio component. Continued attendence results in learning more and more exercises.

Xtreme Pilates: This is a strictly advanced class. 3 years minimum pilates experience and instructor approval required.

"Rock the Box" Elevate your heart rate, while strengthening the whole body. Meet the "Chair", used in pilates for upper back, arms and legs, as well as core strengthening, it is the ultimate in power training.

Private Pilates Sessions: The fastest way to learn, where you get one-on-one attention.  Best for people with pre-existing conditions and special populations.

Duets: Share a session with a buddy.

Pilates Group Equipment Classes are formatted into quarters to offer the best possible price, scheduling and one-time payment. When you reserve a space for any class, you are guaranteed a place in that class throughout the quarter. If you do not attend this class, the space is available after 10 minutes for anyone on the waitlist. Please confer with a Pilates Instructor to determine the appropriate level. See our GTS Forms page for more information.

While priority is given to those who sign up for the GTS format, the group equipment classes are available on a space available basis for students who wish to pay singly or in 10 packs.  This option works best for those who are unable to commit to the GTS format.

Pilates Basics - First Step: You asked for it, and now we are pleased to provide it: a Pilates equipment class that does not require any previous Pilates experience! Be ready to train hard as we introduce you to the work of Joseph Pilates: Mat, Tower, Reformer and Chair exercises... we have packed all of it into this dynamic new program. You must be injury free to participate in this class.

Pilates for Teens: Looking for a way to inspire your teenager to a life of greater strength and fitness? Pilates training for Youth is a great way to improve your teenager’s: core strength, posture, athletic performance and overall coordination.

Pilates Mat: Taught by MVHC Pilates instructors these floor work based classes are a great introduction to the Pilates Method and provide excellent core strength and stability training.

Pilates Abs with Props: The Pilates Method, with the addition of balls, rollers, and bands for another dimension of fitness. This is a multi-level class.

Monitored workout: Where a teacher is available to answer questions, teach a new exercise or coach current exercises, takes place on Saturday noon–2pm.

Self-Directed Workout: All new members are set up with an introductory workout on the Pilates equipment.  Members are free to practice their routine any time the studio is open.
