The Mill Valley Health Club and Spa brings you individualized professional nutrition programs by a Registered Dietitian. Co-owner John Hoeber has been an RD since 1988 and is also a Certified Wellness Coach and Personal Fitness Trainer. He offers realistic, lasting solutions without fads or gimmicks. He specializes in nutrition for wellness, weight loss and sport performance.
Nutrition Check-Up
The Nutrition Check-Up will provide you with answers to your diet and nutrition questions. You will leave with not only a new program and realistic solutions, but with fresh insight into your diet, and renewed motivation for change.
- Computerized intake analysis including carbohydrate, protein, fat, vitamin and mineral levels
- Diet assessment for balance, variety, hunger, fullness
- Body composition measurements including percent fat with health assessment
- Education on proper portion sizes and calorie levels
- Eating strategies for meals, snacks, parties and restaurants
- Experiential learning to get in touch with physical hunger and satiety cues, and improve self nurturing and fulfillment from your foods
